15th Annual International TESOL Conference
CONFERENCE BRIEF
2017 will be an exciting year for TESOL Asia as it plans to hold a series of international conferences in different countries. The first one will be the 15th Annual International TESOL Conference to be held in the Philippines on April 7-9, 2017.
Teaching English is a career divided into different genres and content areas. In the past years, the divide is evident because of the exclusivity of international conferences into some areas only. TESOL Asia believes that through the understanding of the singularity of these areas, they can be converged in a conference. This year, the theme “Convergence in TESOL” solidifies the Conference’s goal of bringing together researches from different content areas and interest groups in the world of teaching English.
The Conference, to be presented by the internationally-acclaimed journal – The Asian EFL Journal and the world’s first international TESOL organization for women – Women in TESOL, will be attended by educators, professors, teachers of English, school administrators of universities and colleges offering English and education courses, post graduates of Education or any course in the Arts, researches and call center professionals nationwide and from other countries.
